For those concerned about societal collapse or impending disaster, two South Carolina lawmakers have a plan. It includes community ammo depots and tactical weapons training.

State Reps. Josiah Magnuson, R-Campobello, and Jonathon Hill, R-Townville — both from tiny towns in the Upstate Bible Belt — are in the process of setting up what they call the “Virtue Solution Project,” a group that is seeking to either save America or survive a societal collapse, which they both believe is likely coming.

The organization is a mixture of religious ministry, grassroots political organizing and disaster prepping. At its core, their movement hopes to save the country by reshaping it to their interpretation of the Founding Fathers’ ideals.

Their plan includes setting up “community preparedness centers,” which will provide access to “reading material, tools, food storage, ammo, and more.”  They want these “micro-hubs” or “light houses” to provide education to their members on first aid, farming, spiritual leadership, energy sources and to teach them “tactical defense.” They are also encouraging other community leaders to form their own survivalist communities. Their vision appears to be that these types of communities will be set up all across America, so that when catastrophe strikes, those participating will be prepared for a “fresh beginning in America.”

“There’s probably going to be a lot of little crises, but there will eventually come a point where there is a major disaster of some sort in our country, in all likelihood,” Magnuson said during one of the lectures he gave in the past year and downloaded onto YouTube.

“We need to be ready for that, and that will give us an opportunity to have a fresh beginning.”

Magnuson also tell The Post and Courier ” “I think all Christians understand that there is a prophetic element to this, living in the end times and so forth.”

Russia Announces Complete Militarization of the North Pole by 2020

Russia;s immediate goals are to equip military facilities mainly on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, the Franz Josef Archipelago, the New Siberian archipelago and the Wrangel Island. Russia’s interest in the North Pole is not just tied to expanding military domination of the region. There are also economic designs as well as Putin is expanding trade routes and mining expecitions in the Arctic, which will be supported by  building a massive transport and energy production infrastructure.

In order to protect their Nort Pole activities, Russia is developing as well as installing military bases in the the Northern Sea Route linking Europe and Asia. Russia views this as necessary because of their lack of usable water ports.

British geographer and military historian, Sir Halford MacKinder, in1904, wrote an article that changed how politicians and military men viewed the world. It was a perception that influenced Hitler to send his troops eastward in an attack upon Russia in 1940. It was also the driving force that led to the underpinnings for superpower foreign policy which guided foreign policy for both sides during the Cold War. The theory that had so influenced nearly three generations of strategists was called simply, the Heartland Theory.

Basically, Mackinder’s Heartland Theory viewed geo-political military history as a struggle between land-based and sea-based powers. Mackinder believed the world had become a “closed” system, with virtually no new lands left for the Europeans powers to discover, to conquer, and to fight over without creating chaos elsewhere. According to the theory the common denominator for world conflict has been reduced to sea powers vs. land-based powers which would subsequently struggle for dominance of the world, and the ultimate victor would be in a position to set up a world empire. The determining factor in this struggle was physical geography; “Man and not nature initiates, but nature in large measure controls”.

This is an unmitigated disaster for NATO miitary planners.

Kim Jong Un is the political expression of leftism to the extreme. According to Thae, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is “desperate in maintaining his rule by relying on his [development of] nuclear weapons and ICBM… Once he sees that there is any kind of sign of a tank or an imminent threat from America, then he would use his nuclear weapons with ICBM.”

North Korea is well known to possess nuclear weapons and has accelerated its nuclear weapons testing since Kim Jong Un took power.

Kim Jong Un can best be described as an extreme totalitarian crybully who claims to be the victim while threatening to nuke his political enemies. This mirrors the total insanity of the kind of Leftists that now dominate California politics, by the way, who similarly claim they have the right to murder conservative guest speakers to make sure they cannot utter words which might “harm” the fragile minds of California campus snowflakes. In the same way that Leftists have repeatedly threatened to assassinate Donald Trump because they don’t like his politics, Kim Jong Un says he’s going to launch nuclear weapons against the United States in order to eliminate his enemies.

During his NBC interview, the North Korean defector added, “Kim Jong Un is a man who can do anything beyond the normal imagination… the final and the real solution to the North Korean nuclear issue is to eliminate Kim Jong Un from the post.”

North Korea has at least two satellites that pass directly over North America… do they carry nuclear warheads for an EMP attack?

Unbeknownst to most Americans, North Korea already possesses at least two satellites that orbit directly over North America. Conceivably, those satellites could already be carrying nuclear warheads and re-entry shielding, allowing North Korea to “drop” nukes into the atmosphere over North America. By detonating those nukes at altitude (perhaps 150 – 500 miles high), an EMP attack would be initiated that could take down the entire national power grid.

As reported by Natural News, a grid down scenario could kill 90% of the American people in the aftermath of a broken society:

The hearing, “Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP): Threat to Critical Infrastructure,” before the House Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Security Technologies explored the effects that an EMP would have… Dr. Peter Pry, a member of the Congressional EMP Commission and executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security, said during testimony that the issue is urgent because an EMP event could wipe out nine-tenths of the nation’s population.

“Natural EMP from a geomagnetic super-storm, like the 1859 Carrington Event or 1921 Railroad Storm, and nuclear EMP attack from terrorists or rogue states, as practiced by North Korea during the nuclear crisis of 2013, are both existential threats that could kill 9 of 10 Americans through starvation, disease, and societal collapse,” he said.

This means North Korea may already possess a weapon that could kill 90% of all Americans, and we have absolutely no defense against it.

A study from University College London found that relying on GPS navigation essentially turns off the parts of your brain that you would have used to simulate different routes had you not been using GPS. This conclusion was reached after studying 24 volunteers who navigated a simulation of central London’s Soho district, while undergoing brain scans.

The scientists were looking at activity in the part of the brain responsible for navigation and memory known as the hippocampus, along with the part involved in decision-making and planning, the prefrontal cortex. Scientists say that the hippocampus helps you simulate journeys on potential paths, while the prefrontal cortex helps you to choose which way to go. The researchers mapped the streets of London in an effort to learn more about how these parts of the brain would react to them. When the study’s volunteers navigated the streets manually, spikes in activity were seen, in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus alike, when they entered new streets. When there were more options to choose from, their brain activity rose accordingly.

For example, entering a dead-end street brought about a reduction in activity, while entering a junction where several streets converge would boost activity in the hippocampus significantly. However, when the volunteers were simply following instructions given by the GPS system on the same streets, there was no additional brain activity. The researchers say this indicates the brain has “switched off its interest in the streets around us.”

They also looked at street networks in big cities around the globe to determine the difficulty of navigating them. Manhattan’s grid system requires comparatively little effort, given the fact that you can only go left, right or straight at each junction, whereas navigating London can be much more taxing on the hippocampus, given its complex layout with multiple junctions and roundabouts. This could also explain why London cab drivers have bigger hippocampi than average people, but the city’s bus drivers, who tend to follow pre-determined routes, do not. The study was published in the Nature Communications journal.

This information can be used by smart tech companies, architects and developers to design spaces that people will find easy to navigate. For example, they can give care homes and hospitals layouts that will not create confusion for people with dementia. At a time when Alzheimer’s is rising dramatically – with today’s figure of more than 5 million Americans living with the disease, which is expected to climb to 16 million by 2050 – this knowledge can be incredibly useful in improving people’s quality of life and avoiding causing undue stress.

Having a GPS system is incredibly useful, but if you want to keep your brain functioning optimally, try to work out routes yourself as much as possible and stick to using the GPS as a backup or for emergencies. Reserve your mapping apps for those times when you’re running late for an important work meeting, for example, but consider letting your brain do the work when you’re looking for that new park for your family’s picnic this weekend.

Specifically, said the AG, the so-called “sanctuary cities” outlined in Trump’s order – cities and counties whose local elected leaders have declared their jurisdictions to be off-limits to federal immigration law enforcement – would begin losing federal dollars if they continued with their policies.

That drew angry responses from mayors and other elected officials from many major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City, among others. Not only did these local leaders vow to fight for their funds, they also openly vowed to defy and oppose federal immigration officials who came to their cities with the goal of identifying and removing individuals who are in the U.S. illegally. That blatant defiance was a step too far for one sheriff, ironically, in deep blue Massachusetts, who said any local official who continued to ignore or oppose federal immigration enforcement efforts should be arrested.

As reported by CBS Boston, Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, in testimony before the House Subcommittee on Illegal Immigration, that cities establishing themselves as sanctuaries for illegal aliens “have become magnets” for them, including many with “violent criminal records.”

Continuing, Hodgson recommended the Justice Department begin taking legal action against local officials openly defying immigration law.

“If these sanctuary cities are going to harbor and conceal criminal illegal aliens from ICE, which is in direct violation of Title 8 of the U.S. Code, federal arrest warrants should be issued for their elected officials,” Hodgson said. “Our citizens would be safer if we never stopped enforcing immigration law and if we never formed or turned a blind eye toward sanctuary cities.”

The sheriff also criticized a Massachusetts state lawmaker who posted on her Facebook page (which has since been removed – it was reproduced here) rumors of a possible Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in the town of Brockton this week.

Rep. Michelle DuBois, a Democrat from Brockton, wrote, “If you are undocumented don’t go out on the street. If there is a knock on the door of your house and you don’t know who it is, don’t open the door.”

This is a legislator, mind you – someone who would otherwise expect citizens of her state to abide by any other laws she would help pass.

Her actions frustrated Hodgson.

“This is the most outrageous, outrageous example of what is going on across the United States that is undermining my job and every other law enforcement officer in the United States,” he told the House subcommittee.

He’s right about that, of course. And isn’t it interesting how Democrats seem to believe they have some sort of divine right and privilege to decide which laws are “right” and “just” and therefore should be followed, and which ones should be ignored? As for illegal immigrants, don’t be fooled by Democrats’ insistence that they “care more” about poor, noble illegal aliens; they look at them as a constituency or, rather, a potential constituency, since the numbers show first-generation immigrants who have earned legal status vote for Democrats.

As for ICE, the agency says it does not publish details about its upcoming operations ahead of time, nor does it conduct random immigration busts and roundups.

And clearly, the agency was not happy with what DuBois did.

“Any person who actively incites panic or fear of law enforcement is doing a disservice to the community, endangering public safety and the very people they claim to support and represent,” ICE spokesman Shawn Neudauer told CBS Boston.

In a joint article, former CIA director Robert James Woolsey Jr and US Congressional EMP Task Force director Dr. Peter Vincent Pry refuted the mainstream media’s allegations that North Korea may not be able deliver on its repeated threats to launch a nuclear strike against the U.S. “False reassurance is given to the American people that North Korea has not ‘demonstrated’ that it can miniaturise a nuclear warhead small enough for missile delivery, or build a reentry vehicle for an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of penetrating the atmosphere to blast a US city,” Woolsey and Pry stated.

The two experts noted that technological dilemmas such as warhead miniaturization and reentry vehicle design would be simple enough matters to address for countries that have already developed nuclear weapons and long-range missiles like North Korea. In a photograph that circulated last year, the North Korean dictator can be seen inspecting an alleged nuclear warhead that was purportedly small enough to be mounted on ballistic missiles.

The experts have also confirmed that North Korea indeed has two classes of intercontinental ballistic missile — the road mobile KN-08 and KN-14 — both of which seemed to be equipped with cutting-edge reentry vehicles. The experts also warned that North Korea could still land a huge blow in the U.S. defense even if their alleged nuclear weapons are yet to materialize.

According to Woolsey and Pry, the country could easily deliver an atomic bomb concealed in a freighter going to the U.S., or hire terrorists to launch a nuclear suicide mission across the unguarded Mexican border, which may affect densely-populated port cities and areas closest to the border. The experts said detonating a Hiroshima-type A-bomb with a yield of 10-kilotons would result in about 200,000 casualties.The experts confirmed that North Korea has tested a nuclear weapon with estimated yields of 20 to 30 kilotons. According to the Defense Department, the country may have tested H-Bomb components in January last year. H-bombs are more powerful than A-bombs and may result in much larger casualties.

Disturbing details on North Korea’s alleged nukes

CIA’s top East Asia analyst publicly announced in 2008 that North Korea was successful in developing miniaturized nuclear warheads to be deployed on its Nodong medium-range missile. According to the analyst, the missile was able to strike Japan and South Korea, and may even reach the U.S. it delivered through a freighter.

In 2011, Lt. General Ronald Burgess, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, testified that North Korea has already weaponized its nuclear devices into warheads. Burgess made his testimonies before the Senate Armed Services Committee.

In early 2015, former senior national security officials cautioned that North Korea might have the capacity to use satellites to launch a small nuclear warhead specifically developed to make a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse attack against the U.S. The  Congressional EMP Commission warned that such an attack could potentially blackout the national electric grid and other infrastructures essential for sustaining life. This may result in subsequent societal collapse and starvation, which in turn may kill nine out of 10 Americans.

Two North Korean satellites — KMS-3 and KMS-4 — currently orbit over the U.S. These satellites’ trajectories appear consistent with surprise EMP attack, Woolsey and Pry said.

During a Pentagon press conference in April 2015, former North American Aerospace Defense commander Adm. William Gortney warned that North Korea’s KN-08 mobile ICBM also has the capacity to launch a nuclear warhead against the U.S. Gortney repeated this warning in October 2015 during an Atlantic Council event. “I agree with the intelligence community that we assess that they [North Koreans] have the ability, they have the weapons, and they have the ability to miniaturize those weapons, and they have the ability to put them on a rocket that can range the [U.S.] homeland,” Gortney said.

As reported by The Daily Caller, Soros, along with a cast of additional wealthy, Alt-Left socialists, are continuing to plot against the Trump administration, with the goal not only of thwarting its agenda, but also, perhaps, derailing the president himself. And they plan to meet right under President Donald J. Trump’s nose:

A network of wealthy liberal donors aligned with billionaire George Soros are meeting in Washington, D.C. with left-wing activists and political players for four days this week to strategize how best to undermine the Trump agenda and “restore progressive government.”

For the record, the legal definition of this kind of activity is found under 18 U.S. Code Chapter 115, “Treason, Sedition and Subversive Activities.” Interestingly, Subsection 2381, “Treason,” states:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Granted, Soros likely isn’t looking to hold any U.S. office himself, but all of this sure sounds like the textbook definition of treason, doesn’t it? (RELATED: George Soros: the self-proclaimed ‘God’ who should be in prison.)

What’s going on here isn’t simple political opposition. What Soros is doing amounts to subversion of a legitimately elected U.S. government; disliking the leader of that government on personal and political grounds does not make that subversion any more legal or proper.

What he’s doing is precisely the reason why the government of his native-born Hungary is out to shut him down and get him out of the country for good.

The Daily Caller noted that it obtained a copy of the agenda for the spring investors conference for the Democracy Alliance, which was closed to the media. The document was marked “confidential.”

The agenda noted that Women’s March leaders, and others from anti-Trump protest group Indivisible, are meeting with Left-wing donors to map out their resistance to the president.

There’s more. Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour and the co-founder of Indivisible, Leah Greenberg, are scheduled to take part in an upcoming panel discussion titled, “Fueling and Sustaining the Progressive Resistance.” A noted Left-wing agitator, Sarsour also has multiple ties to radical figures. A Palestinian-American, she once spoke at an event with a convicted Palestinian terrorist and immigration fraud.

In February, The Daily Sentinel reported that Soros planned to finance groups who would engage in ongoing violent protests against the Trump agenda.

In calling for Soros’ arrest for seditious activities, the news site noted:

This man has sponsored destructive protests, interfered more in our democratic process than the Russians ever did, and has committed himself to changing our country from a democratic republic into some hellish Marxist nightmare, as he has stated in his own words: “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States … Changing [the] attitude and policies of the United States remains my top priority.”

And Democrats in Congress want to investigate Trump over a made-up narrative that he somehow colluded with Moscow to steal the election from Hillary Clinton? Well, the Trump administration doesn’t need Democratic approval to investigate a man who has hijacked their party and finances their pet anti-American causes. The Justice Department, now that it has an honest man running it in Attorney General Jeff Sessions, should waste no time in starting.

Thankfully, a veteran police officer put together a list of 10 easy and essential safety strategies to safeguard your home.

1. Doors and windows should be locked at all times. Even if you are inside the house, make sure that all doors and windows are locked. It can be seen as a little paranoid, but police officers fully support the preventive measure of locking up everything — especially when leaving for the day.
2. Avoid having windowed exterior doors. They can have aesthetic value, but glass doors not only allow people on the outside to see inside your home, they are also very easy to break. Try having solid doors made from sturdy materials. If you have sliding doors, reinforce them with braces so that they cannot be opened from the outside.
3. Brace doors to the walls. This is an easy do-it-yourself project that can be done in an afternoon. Install several three-inch screws along the door’s frame and stop. The screws should reach the wall stud.
4. Install peep-hole covers. Security lessons can be learned from horror films. Don’t allow criminals to see inside your home through peep-holes.
5. Resist the temptation of social media. We live in a fast-paced society. Studies have proven that social media use has the same effect on the brain as drug addiction. We feel the need to post details about our life on every communication channel available. There is also data proving that we can determine our self-worth by the number of “likes” or “loves” we have on our posts. That being said, resist the temptation to post personal information online. Do not let criminals know that your home is unprotected. Post vacation photos when you’re back home. A good tip: if you wouldn’t share that information with a stranger on the street, don’t post it on Facebook.
6. Don’t advertise your wealth. Referring to the previous point, criminals will take advantage of any and every information you share online. Do not post pictures of high-value items. If you are truly proud of the latest gadget you bought, discreetly share pictures with your friends as a personal or private message.
7. Have a security dog. This is great for animal lovers. Dogs can raise the alarm and deter criminals. Even if you do not have a dog, you can make it seem as if you have one. Place a water bowl in the backyard or post a “Beware of Dog” sign outside your gate. What is key is creating the illusion that your home is difficult to break into.
8. Secure a newspaper technique. Stop your paper subscription when you’re away or establish a system to have it picked up. Having newspapers littered on the front porch and mail stuffed in your mailbox is a red flag! Criminals can easily determine if your home is empty and unprotected.
9. Inform your local police station. This can be seen as an inconvenience but let your neighborhood patrol know that you won’t be around for a couple of days. This way, they can schedule their routes around your home.
10. Keep documentation. Sometimes, criminals are determined to break into your home regardless of how well you try to protect it. In cases of burglaries, you can help expedite the process by providing pertinent documentation. Take pictures of high-value items, including their serial number. This way, if the criminal tries to pawn your item, the police are instantly alerted. A lot of people don’t do this (confident that they will never get robbed) and usually give statements like this to the police: “My laptop is a black Dell with a sticker on it.” Descriptions like this are not helpful.

The main takeaway is to be prepared for any situation, and hope that you never have to experience it.

As reported by Readynutrition.com, Wikileaks has produced proof of the CIA’s ability to “identify and exploit vulnerabilities for the purpose of secretly collecting data on individuals” from “85% of the world’s smart phones.” The common link among these devices is that they run on the Android operating system by Google. Samsung phones and Sony phones are among those mentioned, along with certain social messaging apps like Clockman, Weibo and WhatsApp.

What’s even more chilling is a report by The Intercept, which documented that the National Security Agency (NSA) targets those they want to eliminate through “cell-phone tracking technologies.” In other words, after the NSA locates the SIM card, the CIA or the U.S military sends in the drone to kill the person holding that phone.

It’s amazingly simple. Mylar, best defined as a “strong polyester film” that can be used for insulation and storage bags, plays an important role in attaining your privacy. It’s used in three of these four strategies shared by Readynutrtion.com.

1. Mylar bags from snacks or chips

There are lots of sizes, and these bags are everywhere. You’ll need at least three layers. To avoid the residue salt or crumbs from the food, put your phone in a zip lock bag before placing it in the mylar snack bags. You can put duct tape around all three bags and create a secure pouch.

2. Mylar blankets and ponchos

If you don’t have a few mylar blankets or ponchos in your emergency kit, it’s time to get a few, along with some organic emergency storable food. Mylar ponchos and blankets are small and packable and not too pricey. Buy an extra one and cut it as needed for your smart phone. As before, you’ll need three layers for your bag or pouch.

3. Mylar freezer bags

This will work for your laptop as well. Again, three layers for the devices.

4. Military Issue Ammunition Bag

When you find one, it’s important that the rubber gasket is secure.

Before you snuggle your phone into its tracking proof bag, make sure it’s turned on and the volume is up all the way. Wrap it securely, then hold the bag with the phone close to your ear while you call your number from another phone. Only allow 3 rings, don’t let it go to  voice mail. If your phone is securely wrapped,  you won’t hear a thing. That’s a good sign.

With the mylar protection, or the ammo can, that “continuous signal your cell phone sends out every 4 seconds” is interrupted. With this new protection, you may miss a few calls, but now you have a choice to be tracked, or not.
